Freight & Shipping Coordinator – Sea Freight Imports (Agri-Bulk Commodities) Hemswell, Lincolnshire £Industry leading + excellent benefits package Mon – Fri 08:30 – 17:00 (1 hour lunch) Hybrid working after probationary period (6 months) Are you an experienced Freight & Shipping professional with experience of agri-bulk sector? About the Role We\’re seeking a Freight & Shipping Coordinator to join client\’s dynamic logistics team. In this pivotal role, you\’ll oversee the smooth movement of bulk agricultural products from port to end user, ensuring compliance with international trade standards while maintaining cost efficiency and operational excellence. With proven experience in Execution & Logistics within bulk commodities, and a solid understanding of GAFTA and FOSFA contracts and their terms, you\’ll be part of a skilled, collaborative team that thrives on precision, timing, and global impact. Key Responsibilities Coordinate sea freight imports of bulk agri-commodities into the UK Manage all shipping documentation, contracts, and compliance requirements. Work closely with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, and port agents. Monitor vessel schedules, track shipments, and resolve operational issues. Ensure adherence to GAFTA / FOSFA trade rules and company standards. Support continuous improvement in freight cost efficiency and service delivery. What We\’re Looking For Proven experience in sea freight imports of bulk agricultural products or similar. Knowledge of GAFTA and/or FOSFA contracts and compliance. Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to liaise globally. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
