We are seeking experienced Forklift Truck (FLT) Drivers to join our busy and dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting finished products from the factory to designated stock locations across the site. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a warehouse environment and enjoy working in a fast-paced, varied role that includes outdoor work. Alongside FLT operation, the role also involves manual tasks such as pallet splitting and wrapping, making it perfect for individuals who are hands-on and enjoy physical work. Full PPE and on-going training provided.
Personal specification FLT Operative:
- FLT licence
- Previous experience of working within a good in/warehouse type environment
- Maths and English qualification
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Key responsibilities FLT Driver:
- At all times work in a manner that ensures the safety of yourself and all others
- Ensure all tasks are carried out to the Safe System of Work
- At all times in the work area use/wear the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Put away material/goods into the collect locations
- Ensure that material is stored in a safe and controlled manner
- Keep the work area and surrounding areas clean at all times
- In addition, you will be expected to carry out any other tasks that can be reasonably expected
