We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior Designer with a focus on digital output, as well as print, to join our creative team. This role suits someone with a graphic design background who has deliberately developed strong digital skills and can demonstrate strong website design experience. The right person will be highly skilled and well-rounded, with experience across multiple channels of graphic design, identity systems and creative output, from digital to physical.
The role is for someone who understands how design work moves through a creative agency environment, and who can bring structure, clarity and momentum to the process. You’ll be comfortable working at pace across multiple projects, scaling ideas across different formats with consistency and craft.
Website design will be a core part of the role, alongside campaign materials, social content, presentations, print collateral and wider creative outputs. You’ll also collaborate on brand identities, helping bring them to life across digital and physical touchpoints.
With a solid grasp of UX/UI design principles and strong experience working in Figma, you’ll collaborate with designers, developers, strategists and marketeers to support the creative direction, design concepts and delivery of digital experiences for clients across a range of sectors. You’ll be confident taking website design projects from concept through to annotated, production-ready Figma files, handing off to developers with precision.
Away from digital design, you’ll also bring strong print experience, both from a creative and technical standpoint. This includes artworking and production across print and digital channels, supporting the reworking of existing campaign materials as they are scaled, as well as designing new campaign materials from scratch.
You’ll work closely with the Creative Director and wider team to provide design support for a broad range of clients. You’ll help turn strategy, insight and creative direction into clear, distinctive visual systems, developing and executing visual concepts for campaigns, brand projects, websites and social content, from initial ideas through to final output.
You’ll also be a confident communicator, able to articulate your own ideas and the ideas of others clearly, both internally with the team and externally with clients. You’ll bring new ideas to the organisation, challenge existing approaches where needed, and contribute to the success of a wide range of creative projects.
What you’ll be working on:
- Designing websites as a core part of the role, from concept through to production-ready Figma files
- Creating campaign concepts, social content, presentations, print materials and wider creative outputs
- Turning strategy, insight and creative direction into clear, distinctive visual systems
- Working closely with designers, developers, strategists and marketeers across a wide range of projects
- Preparing clear, precise developer handoffs for website and digital projects
- Artworking and producing assets across print and digital channels
- Scaling concepts across diverse formats with consistency and craft
- Presenting and communicating design concepts confidently to internal teams and external clients
- Bringing new ideas to the team and challenging existing ideas or approaches where it helps strengthen the work
Skills and experience:
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Extensive Figma experience, including component libraries, prototyping and clear developer handoffs
- Strong understanding of design principles across digital and print
- Excellent design craft across typography, layout, colour and composition
- Experience with moving image, motion, animation or After Effects would be a very welcome bonus
- An interest in AI tools and evolving digital tools, particularly where they can support creative thinking, improve workflows or open up new possibilities
About you:
- A strong creative flair, with the ability to generate concepts that align with brand guidelines and client objectives
- The confidence to contribute ideas as well as execute them, from moodboards and scamps through to finished artwork
- The ability to consistently develop work that hits the sweet spot between stand-out creative and commercially sound thinking
- The ability to choose the right media, style and format for each brief
- At least 5 years’ agency experience, or experience in a similar fast-moving creative environment
- Experience working across multiple projects, balancing priorities and keeping momentum
- Great organisation skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage your time effectively
- A clear understanding of when to seek feedback or guidance, and how to incorporate it constructively
- A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to share inspiration, contribute ideas and provide creative input throughout the process
Full time £32,000 - £35,000 per annum
