Roomzzz York boasts 97 luxury apartments, located on the banks of the River Ouse, and directly next to Rowntree Park. The Aparthotel has an onsite gym, deli, car park and excellent staff facilities. Combining the comfort of a hotel with the convenience of a serviced apartment, our aim is simple: to give our guests more space, more freedom, more of the things they want and less of the things they don’t. Simply put, staying at Roomzzz is like having your own stylish city centre apartment, but with someone else to tidy up and bring you fluffy towels.
We are recruiting a Room Attendant for Roomzzz Aparthotels, York. A fantastic opportunity to be part of a luxurious brand where our friendly housekeeping staff thrive on delivering an excellent guest and member experience.
Duties:
- Liaise with the Head Housekeeper to ensure all rooms are cleaned in conjunction with guest check-in and departures.
- Maintain clean rooms by vacuuming, polishing, providing linen services, dusting, cleaning to a high standard and performing other duties as advised by the Senior Housekeeping Team.
- Deliver consistently high standards of cleanliness, looking after guests' needs and maintaining a polite and courteous attitude.
- Replenish linen and guest supplies.
- Report any defects such as faults and any areas of concern.
Skills:
- Passion for cleanliness with a keen eye for detail and high standards.
- A desire to consistently deliver an excellent level of service and improve departmental performance.
- Focus on high standards of your own work and that of the team.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience of working in a hotel or in a similar position would be desirable but not essential.
