We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Preparation Technician to join our well-established and successful client located in Hatfield. The role is a full-time temp to perm position offering an hourly rate of £12.71 per hour (FTE Salary of £29,576.17 per annum). You will be required to work 7.30am-5.00pm (1 hour break), Monday to Friday and 7.30am-12.00pm, 2 Saturday’s per month. Full training will be provided and the successful candidate may be required to work on another site located in Hertfordshire, on occasions.
Duties include:
- Work closely with different teams to ensure that the following can be completed
- Cleaning vehicles and visual inspections
- Regular safety checks
- Assisting staff with check In’s and Check Out’s
- 6 weekly vehicle checks on all vehicles
- Keeping yard and work area tidy and free of obstructions
- Ensuring we have stock of consumables
- Preparing vehicles for sale
- Handover sales vehicles to customers
- Backup for driving/deliveries/collections/moving vehicles between depots
