We are delighted to be recruiting for a part-time Vehicle Valeter to join a well-established and successful client based in Hoddesdon. This is a temp to perm role offering an hourly rate of £12.71, with any overtime paid at the standard hourly rate.

Shift Pattern A (2 Weekly Shift Pattern):

  • Week 1: 07:30 – 17:30 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (1 hour lunch or 2 × 15-minute breaks and 30-minute lunch)
  • Week 2: 07:30 – 17:30 Thursday, Friday (1 hour lunch or 2 × 15-minute breaks and 30-minute lunch), 07:30 – 12:15 Saturday (15-minute break)

Shift Pattern B (2 Weekly Shift Pattern):

  • Week 1: 07:30 – 17:30 Thursday, Friday (1 hour lunch or 2 × 15-minute breaks and 30-minute lunch), 07:30 – 12:15 Saturday (15-minute break)
  • Week 2: 07:30 – 17:30 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (1 hour lunch or 2 × 15-minute breaks and 30-minute lunch)

Full training will be provided and although the role will be based at Hoddesdon, the successful candidate may be required to work in Hatfield on occasions.

Duties include:

  • Work closely with different teams to ensure that the following can be completed
  • Cleaning vehicles
  • Assisting staff with check-ins and check-outs
  • 6-weekly vehicle checks on all vehicles
  • Keeping yard and work area tidy and free of obstructions
  • Ensuring stock of consumables is maintained
  • Preparing vehicles for sale
  • Handing over sales vehicles to customers
  • Backup for driving/deliveries/collections/moving vehicles between depots
