Our global pharmaceutical client based in London is recruiting for a Project Manager to join their UK & Ireland Contraception team on a contract basis. This role will support and report directly to the Senior Brand & Customer Manager, playing a key role in the planning, coordination and delivery of brand and customer initiatives. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned with brand strategy, regulatory requirements and business objectives.

This is a full-time, temporary contract position initially offered for 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The role requires 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and offers hybrid working with 2–3 days split between home and the office. This role offers an hourly rate of £18.46 - £31.28 per hour depending on experience, plus 25 days’ holiday (pro rata) and additional benefits. While London-based candidates are preferred, our client also has an office in Birmingham and will consider applicants who are within a commutable distance of the Birmingham site.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management
- Co-define project objectives (target audience, budget, timing)
- Elaborate planning, tasks, and coordinate the team
- Ensure operational follow-up of the project from A to Z
- Manage with the unexpected, adapt the action plan or discussions to solution-finding
- Develop or adapt from other cluster country omni-channel marketing assets (mainly KAMs assets), liaising with medical, medical validation, BCM and ensure they are delivered on time.
- Conceive briefing documents, lead brief to agencies, ensure consistency of messages across tools and quality branding
- For KAMs/printed tools, ensure assets are stored, sent and/or withdrawn according to SOPs and internal processes
- Master Veeva PromoMat to pull through assets in a compliant way
- Ensure respect for timings, budget, quality
- Liaison with all stakeholders
- Pilot external agencies
- Inform direct report to project challenges and think through solutions
- Track KPIs
- Analyze results and feedback of asset development
- Explore new ideas, improve assets/campaigns
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, marketing, life sciences or a related degree
- Minimum 7 years’ project management experience, including at least 2 years within a pharmaceutical or healthcare environment
- Strong understanding of scientific and medical communications is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational and planning skills, with strong attention to detail
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
