Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse/ Forklift Operative to join our busy and well-established client based in Brimsdown. This is a full-time temp-perm position working 8:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, and every other Sunday from 9:00am to 1:00pm. This role is paying £14 per hour.

Duties include:

  • Receive, unload, and organise products or materials within the warehouse.
  • Accurately pick items from shelves according to order details and pack them for dispatch.
  • Ensure orders are processed efficiently and accurately to meet customer demands.
  • Safely load and unload goods from delivery, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
  • Assist customers in locating products within the warehouse and provide general support when needed.
  • Operate forklift trucks for loading, unloading, and moving goods as required.
  • Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment, including proper lifting techniques and equipment use.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised and free of hazards.
  • Regularly maintain storage systems and equipment.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Punctual & reliable
  • Previous forklift truck (FLT) driving experience is useful – training may be provided.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to remain on your feet for long periods.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, punctual, and reliable.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and alternate Sundays.
