Our growing client is expanding their operations and will be opening a new warehouse facility in Great Dunmow in January. As part of this exciting period of growth, they are seeking a reliable and capable Driver to join the team from January. Carry out daily vehicle safety checks before departure. Load your vehicle safely and accurately. Deliver products to schools, academies, nurseries and commercial customers. Unload goods safely and place deliveries where requested. Obtain proof of delivery where required. Keep your vehicle clean, tidy and roadworthy. Report any vehicle defects or customer issues promptly. Assist in the warehouse when required. Follow all company health and safety procedures. Maintain high standards of customer service and represent the company positively.
Essential Full UK driving licence. Previous van driving experience. Good knowledge of London and surrounding areas. Friendly and professional manner. Physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving products safely. Reliable with excellent timekeeping. Able to work independently and take responsibility for your route. Good communication skills. Desirable: Experience delivering to schools or commercial customers. Basic warehouse experience. Forklift licence (training can be provided if required).
