Heroic by Room 8 Group is looking for a Compositing Artist to seamlessly integrate visual elements from various sources into a single, cohesive final image or sequence. Working closely with Project Leads, Cinematic Artists, and Project Managers, the Compositing Artist ensures that all elements are combined in a photorealistic or stylistically appropriate way to meet both the artistic and technical goals of the production.
Superpowers you have
- Proficiency in industry-standard compositing tools (primarily Fusion)
- Solid understanding of color grading, photographic principles, and VFX workflows
- Strong eye for detail, composition, and visual storytelling
- Ability to interpret and apply creative and technical feedback
- Familiarity with multi-pass CG integration and 2D/3D compositing techniques
- Good communication and teamwork skills in a collaborative production environment
You’re a rockstar if you have
- 3d packages knowledge (Maya, C4D, Houdini)
- Hands on experience in the film/post-production industry
- Being a gamer that plays and knows how a cool game should look like
As a part of Room 8 studio, you will
- Combine rendered CG elements and other assets using compositing software (e.g. Fusion, After Effects, Natron)
- Perform tasks such as keying, tracking, rotoscoping, color correction, and matte extraction
- Maintain visual consistency and continuity throughout shots and sequences
- Collaborate with the Project Lead and other team members to achieve the desired final look
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve technical and artistic issues in a shot
- Optimize and manage compositing scripts for performance and flexibility
- Deliver high-quality final shots that are ready for editorial or client approval
- Adhere to project deadlines, feedback loops, and studio pipelines
- Maintain organized project files and naming conventions for team collaboration
