Next great challenge is coming: We are looking for a highly skilled artist experienced in leading projects involving stylized environments, equipment, and weapons for the position of Project Lead Artist.
Superpowers you have are:
- Experience in creating high-poly and low-poly models of stylized environment, weapons, and hard surface assets based on concepts;
- High-poly sculpting in Zbrush;
- Low-poly modeling in Max/Maya/Blender;
- Experience in creating optimal UV mapping and texture baking (normal, AO, etc.);
- Stylized texturing skills in Substance Painter and/or hand-painted texturing;
- Ability to interpret and improve concept ideas accurately;
- Experience as a project lead;
- Ability to evaluate team members' work objectively and provide constructive feedback;
- Sociability and teamwork skills;
- Intermediate English level or higher;
You're a rockstar if you have:
- Experience building scenes in game engines (Unreal Engine 4/5, Unity, etc);
- Strong skills in creating materials in Substance Designer;
- Knowledge of rendering in VRay, Arnold, and others.
As part of Room 8 Studio, you will:
- Manage projects related to stylized environments, weapons, and hard surface assets;
- Ensure quality control of artists' work;
- Provide assistance and solve artistic and technical problems;
- Organize and oversee team tasks;
- Create high and low poly models of stylized environment objects, weapons, and equipment according to concepts;
- Create optimal UV maps and bake textures (normal, AO, etc.);
- Make stylized textures.
