We are seeking someone to join our team and provide hands‑on technical, field, and reporting support to the CTO and Site Manager across central facilities and remote operational or experimental sites. To contribute to equipment checks, sampling, testing, maintenance, and operational readiness.
Core Responsibilities- Assist with daily technical tasks, fieldwork planning, and operational follow‑up.
- Perform routine inspections, basic maintenance, and equipment checks.
- Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting under senior guidance.
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment status and site observations.
- Travel to rural or remote sites to check pumps, monitoring stations, dosing systems, aeration equipment, and related systems.
- Keep sites safe, tidy, and compliant with operational, environmental, and biosecurity standards.
- Adapt to new site types as the organisation expands.
- Conduct sampling, environmental testing, and field monitoring to defined procedures.
- Operate and calibrate instruments, sensors, and telemetry units.
- Record results clearly and elevate anomalies.
- Assist troubleshooting when data indicates issues.
- Follow safe working practices, especially near water, chemicals, and rural hazards.
- Provide input to risk assessments through site condition reporting.
- Handle chemicals safely and support lifting‑equipment logs and inspection records.
- Produce clear reports on site visits, results, and maintenance activities.
- Compile data for operational reviews and CTO reporting.
- Maintain digital records, checklists, and compliance documentation.
