We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Team Leader - Housing with Care to lead our Housing with Care teams across Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting older and vulnerable people, enjoys leading and developing others, and wants to play a key role in delivering high-quality housing and support services.
As Team Leader, you’ll provide day-to-day leadership to our Housing with Care Officers, ensuring customers receive outstanding support while maintaining high standards of service delivery, compliance, health and safety, and performance.
- What you’ll do
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of Housing with Care Officers.
- Ensure customers receive high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence and wellbeing.
- Monitor service performance and customer outcomes, implementing improvements where needed.
- Support the management of customer and neighbour complaints effectively and professionally.
- Work closely with local authorities, health professionals and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for customers.
- Support tenancy sustainment, income collection, void management and customer moves where appropriate.
- Ensure contractual requirements, regulatory standards and safeguarding responsibilities are met.
- Use data, customer feedback and performance information to identify opportunitie
- Participate in the on-call rota and provide leadership support when required.

Essential requirements
- GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths at Grade C/Level 2 or above.
- Experience of working in a customer-focused environment.
- Experience of leading, managing and motivating a team.
- Knowledge and understanding of the needs of vulnerable people.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage performance, set objectives and drive service improvements.
- Experience of working collaboratively with external agencies and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities and professional boundaries.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use.
Desirable
- CIH Certificate in Housing, Level 4 Management Qualification, or working towards a relevant professional qualification.
- Experience of tenancy management.
- Knowledge of housing, support services, benefits or relevant legislation.
