Job Info

  • Manage the commercial and financial aspects of flat roofing projects from pre-construction through to final account.
  • Prepare cost estimates, tenders and valuations, manage project budgets, assess and negotiate variations and claims, and compile cost value reconciliations.
  • Administer contracts under standard forms (JCT/NEC), liaise with Tier 1 and Tier 2 main contractors on all commercial matters, and maintain strong relationships with clients and the supply chain throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry with proven ability managing valuations, variations, final accounts and project budgets.
  • Strong working knowledge of standard contract forms (JCT, NEC) and proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-standard estimating or QS software.
  • Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; roofing background not necessary but beneficial.
