Roof Plus Ltd is the foremost Roofing Contractor operating throughout the North West. We predominantly complete roofing works on large housing sites for leading developers including Anwyl Homes, Bellway, Bloor Homes, Castle Green Homes and Redrow Homes.
We directly employ all our workforce and train all employees to become qualified Roof Tilers with our on-the-job training scheme. We train all employees in the safe use of power tools and ensure everyone is given the correct safety training in manual handling, working at heights, and general site safety.
Starting responsibilities consist of cleaning up as work is carried out, learning the basics of roofing from a competent roofer. This will include loading tiles, use of cut-off saw, felt and battening using a gas-powered nail gun, and basic tiling works. There is no experience required to apply as we believe we can provide the necessary training.
Any new starter who shows the correct aptitude and a good attitude to work and learn will have the opportunity to earn £13.50 an hour within the first 3 months. Once an employee has learned the basics to a high standard and within a reasonable time frame, they are given a further pay rise and the opportunity to carry out more advanced work with more responsibility. There will be further pay rises to match skills learned throughout your advancement.
Employees are provided with all relevant PPE and roofing tools required for the job. Work vehicles are provided along with all power tools. Employees are collected from home each day and dropped off at the end of the working day so they don't have to worry about arranging their own transportation.
