We are seeking a Procurement Officer to join our team and support procurement and contract management activities within a public sector body. This role is perfect for someone with experience in public sector procurement, who can provide expert guidance, manage procurement processes, and ensure compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities: ✔ Provide guidance on procurement policies, contract management, and best practices ✔ Manage the procurement portal (In-tend) and support stakeholders in its use ✔ Run low-value tenders and ensure compliance with public procurement regulations ✔ Support contract management by monitoring supplier performance and agreements ✔ Ensure value for money while maintaining transparency and accountability What We’re Looking For: 🔹 Experience in public sector procurement) or contract management – construction category. 🔹 Knowledge of UK procurement regulations and best practices 🔹 Experience using In-tend (or similar e-procurement platforms) 🔹 Strong organisational and stakeholder engagement skills 🔹 Ability to manage multiple procurement activities efficiently
