They're seeking a dedicated and hands-on Senior Software Engineer to join a collaborative, cross-functional engineering team. Working closely with product and design, you'll play a key role in developing high-quality, high-performing features while taking ownership of core areas within the platform. You'll enjoy the challenge of contributing to a product that processes large volumes of traffic and be an advocate for continuous improvement across the system.
Some of the requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar web development role
- Experience using the technologies mentioned above
- An aptitude and interest in full-stack development
- Any knowledge of the technologies they use is beneficial; experience of functional programming in a professional environment is helpful, though they are increasingly moving to TypeScript, React and Go
- Understanding of database design, indexing, and related concepts
- Knowledge of data warehouse software (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake) and related principles
- Skills in data engineering, including ML applications, performance engineering, and data visualisation
- Understanding of Test Driven Development
