DevOps Engineer - Hybrid in the North East of England.

The Role

We're on the lookout for a DevOps Engineer to become an integral part of our Platform Engineering Team. You'll join us at a pivotal moment as we take a project beyond MVP. You'll be part of a forward-thinking engineering team with strong centres of excellence, high coding standards, and great team ethics, helping scale a tech-led business that makes life simpler for our customers.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Collaborate on the design of secure, scalable, and highly available, cost-optimised, cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement technologies within our environments using Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Monitor & manage our systems for availability.
  • Support the team in the application of Agile through Scrum and Kanban, adopting the usual rituals and the use of our end-to-end processes.

What we are looking for

  • Developing and deploying via Infrastructure-as-Code. You will need to be proficient in the use of Terraform, YAML and ARM templates and be ready to develop your skillset.
  • Creation, monitoring and management of cloud artifacts in the Microsoft Azure Cloud, using the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) via Azure DevOps.
  • Using AI to enhance productivity, such as code building and coding assistance.
