They’re looking for someone with experience in .NET development, open source and cloud technologies including MySQL, Docker/Kubernetes, AWS and familiarity with CI/CD using Gitlab, Jenkins or similar tools.
Some of the responsibilities:
- Implement robust, well-structured, performant, comprehensively tested integrations and core features.
- Produce high quality documentation to help accelerate our team expansion.
- Actively seek to improve the platform using best-practice engineering methods.
- Contribute towards a “shift-left” culture, ensuring business requirements, security, testing, deployment and observability concerns and overall context are well understood and documented to ensure the right thing gets built the right way the first time.
- Engage with QA, Security, Release & Operations early in the development cycle to achieve high quality releases that pass through their respective gates first time.
- Help contribute towards these processes as we evolve our business.
- Build a culture of best practice engineering with a focus on Quality and Automation.
- Develop automated tests and conduct performance tuning.
Some of the requirements:
- Experience in .NET development, primarily with C# and WebAPI.
- Proficiency in writing object-oriented code that is clear, robust, efficient, high-performing, testable, extendable, and well-encapsulated.
- A deep understanding of proper API design principles, coupled with experience in REST / JSON interfaces.
- Familiarity with MySQL databases, Memcached, RabbitMQ, and Ceph would be advantageous.
- Prior experience in developing for virtual or cloud environments, such as VMware, AWS, or Azure.
- A proven track record in a well-regulated software development practice, contributing effectively.
- A willingness to participate in an on-call rotation to support their builds.
Desired, but not essential:
- Prior experience in the iGaming industry.
- Experience dealing with various iGaming vendors such as Payments, KYC/ID verification, Geolocation, Customer Support, CRM, Affiliate Tracking, Casino Content, Sportsbooks.
- Proficiency in React development.
