A well-established and growing UK-based manufacturer is looking for an Internal Sales Manager to lead its internal sales team and support ambitious growth goals.

This is a hands-on leadership position focused on coaching, mentoring, and developing a team of Internal Account Managers and Business Development Executives. The successful candidate will take ownership of team performance, introduce effective KPIs, and contribute to revenue generation by managing strategic sales opportunities.

Please note this is an on-site role based in Stockton.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead, coach, and support a team to exceed individual and team sales targets
  2. Define and monitor clear KPIs and performance metrics
  3. Deliver sales training, call coaching, and development initiatives
  4. Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement
  5. Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure CRM systems are fully utilised and accurate
  6. Collaborate with marketing and leadership to align commercial strategies
  7. Personally manage and close high-value or strategically significant deals
  8. Report on sales activity, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to senior leadership
