A fast-growing, tech-driven utilities company is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer to shape their cloud strategy and lead their platform engineering team. The role combines leadership, security, and automation, supporting a cloud-first approach with an emphasis on Azure while maintaining cloud-agnostic capabilities.
What You\’ll Do:
Lead and mentor a small platform engineering team.
Define and implement a secure cloud platform strategy.
Manage supplier relationships and budget forecasts.
Drive DevSecOps best practices and enhance cloud security initiatives.
Design CI/CD pipelines and automation-first infrastructure.
Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve efficiency and security.
Provide enterprise-level authentication security expertise.
Support out-of-hours deployments as needed.
What You\’ll Bring:
5+ years of experience in DevOps and Cloud Native Infrastructure, with a focus on Azure.
3+ years in Cloud Security and DevSecOps.
Expertise in Kubernetes (Azure), Azure DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep).
Strong coding skills in C# and experience with .NET Core/.NET 8.
Experience with Azure CAF, ELZ, and well-architected frameworks.
