We’re working with an established digital technology business that is looking to hire a DevOps Engineer to join its IT function. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys operating across both cloud and on-prem infrastructure, improving reliability, automation and security, while working closely with engineering teams in a collaborative DevOps environment.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining and evolving production platforms, CI/CD tooling and operational processes across a secure, high-availability environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing and improving operational health, reliability and performance across cloud and on-prem environments
- Designing and enhancing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Supporting Kubernetes-based environments
- Driving automation and operational excellence initiatives
- Working closely with development teams to support DevOps best practices
- Supporting monitoring, alerting, backups and security controls
- Contributing to ISO27001 compliance and operational security processes
Tech / Experience required:
- Cloud platform experience with AWS or Azure
- Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform preferred)
- Automation/configuration management tools such as Ansible
- CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, Git etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting skills within production environments
- Experience working in secure/compliant environments
