This role focuses on managing complex employee relations matters and supporting leaders through sensitive people situations. You’ll act as the main point of contact for tricky cases, providing practical advice and helping the business make fair and consistent decisions. This is a hands-on, advisory role suited to someone confident handling challenging conversations and balancing empathy with commercial awareness.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage complex employee relations cases including performance, conduct, grievances and absence
- Support managers with difficult conversations and decisions
- Provide clear, practical HR advice
- Ensure processes follow employment law and best practice
- Identify risks and help resolve issues early
- Coach managers to improve confidence handling people matters
- Work closely with the wider People team
- Strong employee relations experience
- Good knowledge of UK employment law
- Confident working with stakeholders at different levels
