A growing consultancy within the utilities sector is looking for a confident and driven Lead Generator to join its sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, generating new business opportunities, and speaking with decision-makers. You'll play a key role in identifying potential clients, qualifying opportunities, and supporting the wider sales team in securing new business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively contact prospective business customers to introduce the company's services and identify opportunities.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and understand their business requirements.
  • Gather relevant information during the qualification process, including supplier details, contract information, and business needs.
  • Qualify and schedule appointments for the senior sales team.
  • Maintain accurate records of all activity within the CRM system.
  • Manage and nurture a pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Ensure all sales activities are carried out in line with relevant industry regulations and company procedures.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.

About You

  • Previous experience in lead generation, telesales, customer engagement, or business development.
  • Confident communicator with excellent telephone skills.
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities.
  • Organised with good attention to detail and CRM experience.
  • Comfortable speaking with senior business stakeholders.
