Based in Baker Street, our Property and Commercial litigation department prides itself on being able to offer a ’level of client care and attention that is beyond anything the big players can offer’. We have been described as being a “very thorough and collaborative firm” with the team being described as being able to “think outside the box” “, commercial, attentive and highly responsive”.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Property Litigator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have between 0-4 years of post-qualification experience and a proven track record in handling a range of property litigation matters. You will work closely with Partner David Burns, gaining invaluable experience and contributing to the success of the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of residential and commercial property litigation matters, including:
• Contested and uncontested commercial lease renewals
• Residential property disputes
• Property joint venture disputes
• Insolvency
• Real property, adverse possession and right-of-way disputes
• Lease Extensions
• Leasehold Enfranchisement
• Right to manage
• Service charge disputes
• Bridging loan disputes

• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Draft letters, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Attend court hearings and conferences
• Work collaboratively with the team to develop innovative legal solutions
• Be able to demonstrate strong technical skills with an ability to present solutions effectively
• Provide case analysis and recommendations on strategy
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to professional development

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 1-4 years PQE
• Experience in property litigation is essential
• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Highly organised and detail-oriented
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure rules
• An interest in assisting with business development
• Providing effective support for partners
• Strong academics
