Job Overview
Are you focused on results, sales target driven, whilst ensuring that every customer receives exceptional seamless service? As the Sales Manager, you’ll be passionate about automotive knowledge and solutions, and highly influential and approachable in how you engage with colleagues and customers. As new solutions emerge, you’ll learn, share and inspire your team members, personally encouraging and demonstrating the skills and behaviours associated with Ron Brooks’s values. You’ll meet and, at times, exceed your and your team’s key targets whilst continuously analysing, reviewing and improving progress. Your Key Responsibilities

- Ability to deliver great customer experiences, build rapport and connection
- Be responsible for managing a fast paced and busy sales environment
- Lead and inspire and engage the sales team, modelling the skill and behaviours required for excellent customer service
- Ensure each team member is working towards achieving targets, and objectives in line with the centre’s performance goals
- Ensure sales performance processes and systems are as robust as possible- monitoring progress and maximizing productivity whilst motivating your team
- Manage sales team development, performance and recruitment, monitoring training needs and providing hands on coaching as part of your own career objectives
- Maximise commercial opportunities through providing advice to sales and aftersales executives and sign‑off on key issues such as customer discounts and approvals for used car purchases
- Plan and implement effective local promotions, dealership displays and advertising campaigns in collaboration with the Centre Principal and marketing team
- Manage the supply of used car stock effectively in line with centre guidelines and goals
- Understand the relevant local market, competition, and consumer influences, analyse a variety of commercial data and work with the dealership management to ensure the success and growth of the centre
- Be a core member of the centres team, observe and lead by example, ensuring all opportunities are captured and customers’ needs are met by the most appropriate member of your team

Location of Centre
- A full UK driving licence
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Flexible to work hours required to carry out the role effectively and travel (to the training sessions)

Experience and Qualifications
- Good level of general education – at least GCSE English and Maths and ideally A-Levels or an equivalent qualification
- IT skills, (MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and social media skills
- Proven prior experience in a similar role in the automotive industry
- Successful track record of delivering outstanding results as well as delivering exceptional customer satisfaction

Working Pattern
