Rompa are the market leaders in sensory provision. We are hiring a full-time Installation Engineer to join our team in the fitting of specialist, sensory rooms.
Responsibilities
- Providing an installation service of sensory and soft play equipment into customers' premises, ensuring the highest quality, safety and workmanship at all times.
- Providing any joinery needs.
- Carrying out site surveys and risk assessments prior to the installation.
- Carrying out service calls and maintenance on our equipment, diagnosing and repairing any faults.
Qualifications
- Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card would be advantageous.
- Current and clean driving licence.
- Ability to use a wide range of tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills and a 'can do' positive attitude.
- Strong verbal communication skills and possess a tactful, polite and friendly approach.
Other Information
- Candidates must have willingness to work away from home during the week; some weeks you could be away all week.
- An attractive salary package will be offered to the successful candidate - we also pay an overnight allowance.
- We pay for any evening meals and lunches whilst staying away.
- The hotels we use are a high standard and are as close as possible to the installation site.
- Due to the work environment of this role, the successful candidate will have their background checked with the DBS to ensure suitability.
