About the Role
Looking for a proactive and technically minded Technical Consultant to join our Technical Support team in East Leake. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in construction, specification, or technical design who enjoys solving problems, supporting customers, and delivering expert technical advice. You will act as a trusted technical expert, providing bespoke solutions and specification support to customers, specifiers, and internal teams while ensuring a high standard of customer service and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical advice and support to customers and internal teams
- Develop bespoke technical solutions and specifications
- Build strong relationships with allocated customers and market sectors
- Ensure enquiries are handled quickly, accurately, and professionally
- Maintain expert knowledge of products, systems, and industry regulations
- Support specification opportunities across SGIS and Saint-Gobain businesses
- Keep up to date with industry standards, legislation, and best practice
- Attend CPD sessions and technical training seminars

What We’re Looking For: Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience within construction, specification, design, or technical support
- Strong understanding of construction products and systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working in a customer-facing environment
- Computer literate with strong organisational skills
- Educated to A-Level standard including Maths and English
