Full time and part time positions available Vacancies at Malden Manor, Cheam & Manor Park Starting rate £13.50 ph The Role As a Barista, you’ll play an important part in the day-to-day running of our coffee shop. You’ll prepare and serve great coffee, assist with food service and help maintain the friendly atmosphere that makes customers want to return. Key Responsibilities ● Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages to a consistent standard. ● Provide friendly, attentive and efficient customer service. ● Take customer orders, process payments and operate the till. ● Assist with serving food and maintaining an attractive display. ● Keep the coffee machine, equipment, counters and customer areas clean and organised. ● Replenish stock and help with deliveries and stock rotation. ● Follow food hygiene, allergen awareness and health and safety procedures. ● Support colleagues to ensure the café runs smoothly during busy periods. ● Assist with opening and closing duties where required. ● Help create a positive, welcoming atmosphere for customers and colleagues. About You The ideal candidate will: ● Have a genuine passion for coffee and hospitality. ● Be friendly, approachable and confident communicating with customers. ● Have a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy working as part of a team. ● Be reliable, punctual and well organised. ● Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. ● Take pride in cleanliness, presentation and attention to detail. ● Be flexible and willing to support the wider team when needed. Previous barista or café experience would be an advantage, but enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and a great attitude are just as important
