Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a project based in Abergavenny, Wales, for an approximate 8-week duration. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with programme requirements. An electrical background would be advantageous but is not essential. We are primarily looking for a competent and proactive Site Manager with strong organisational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate subcontractors and site activities.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Conduct site inspections and maintain accurate health and safety records.
- Monitor progress against programme and report on site performance.
- Liaise with project stakeholders, subcontractors, and the client as required.
- Manage site documentation, permits, and daily reports.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project.
- Identify and resolve site issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Manager on construction, M&E, or infrastructure projects.
- Valid SMSTS certificate.
- CSCS Card.
- First Aid at Work qualification.
