About the Role
Are you an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter looking for a role that offers variety, stability, and a well-equipped modern workshop? We are seeking a skilled and self‑motivated Workshop-Based Mobile Plant Fitter to maintain and repair a diverse range of leading‑brand equipment, including JCB, Komatsu, Bomag, Thwaites, Hamm, Powerscreen, John Deere, and Bell.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on a variety of plant and machinery.
- Carry out PAT testing, PDI inspections, and routine servicing.
- Perform reactive and preventative maintenance, both in the workshop and on-site when required.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Adhere to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices from fault analysis through to completion.

- Crushers, Screeners & Wheeled Loaders
- Disc Cutters, Generators & Water Pumps

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Mobile Plant Fitter role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Expertise in computer diagnostics.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail – precise documentation is essential.
- A team player who is reliable, flexible, and works well under pressure.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to diagnose and repair efficiently.
