We are currently seeking an experienced 2nd Fix Finishing Carpenter to join a well-established and professional team working from a workshop in Bishop\βs Stortford. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a skilled carpenter looking for consistent work, good hours, and a friendly working environment.
Role Details
- Position: 2nd Fix Finishing Carpenter
- Start Date: 26/01/2026
- Duration: Ongoing work
- Location: Bishop\βs Stortford, CM23 2AP
- Pay Rate: Β£24 per hour
- Hours: Monday to Friday β up to 11 hours paid per day
Responsibilities
- High-quality 2nd fix carpentry and finishing work
- Working within a workshop environment
- Measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing timber components
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Following health & safety regulations at all times

- Proven experience as a 2nd fix / finishing carpenter
