As our business continues to expand, we are looking for an ambitious, experienced and commercially minded Senior Lettings Consultant to join our London team.

The Role
We are seeking a confident and proactive Senior Lettings Consultant with a minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in the London residential lettings market.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, securing lettings instructions, conducting viewings, negotiating offers and managing the lettings process from initial enquiry through to successful tenancy commencement.
You will work with an established portfolio of landlords and properties while actively identifying opportunities to expand our market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new business and secure residential lettings instructions.
- Conduct rental valuations and provide expert advice to landlords on pricing, market conditions and rental strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, investors and prospective clients.
- Arrange and conduct property viewings, including evenings and weekends when required.
- Qualify prospective tenants, negotiate offers and agree tenancy terms.
- Manage the lettings process from initial enquiry through to move-in, working closely with the tenancy progression team.
- Consistently achieve and exceed individual lettings, instruction and revenue targets.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell property management, sales and other agency services.
- Maintain accurate client and property records using the company’s CRM system.
- Ensure compliance with relevant UK lettings legislation and company procedures.
- Monitor local rental market trends, competitor activity and available stock.
- Deliver an exceptional level of customer service while representing Romans & Partners professionally.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential lettings within the London property market.
- Proven track record of securing new instructions, negotiating tenancies and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong knowledge of the London rental market and residential lettings processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confident in conducting rental valuations and winning landlord instructions.
- Highly motivated, target-driven and commercially focused.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Good understanding of UK lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience using property CRM systems and online property portals.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a busy team.
- Experience dealing with high-net-worth individuals and international landlords.
- Existing landlord relationships or a strong network within the London property market.
- ARLA Propertymark qualifications or equivalent industry accreditation.
- Additional languages, particularly Mandarin or Cantonese.
- Experience within prime central London, South Kensington, Canary Wharf or surrounding markets.
