Blessed Sacrament Parish is seeking a part-time facilities Coordinator. This position is ideal for an active or retired individual.
Primary responsibilities are as follows:
- Support weekly facilities operations. parish special events.
- Monitor building, equipment, and grounds.
- Analyze and evaluate present and future facilities utilization.
- Maintain and update a file of independent contractors used for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, grounds and building maintenance.
- Maintain an inventory of maintenance and building supplies.
- Perform light maintenance tasks as needed and document the outcome.
- Effectively communicate and meet with Pastor and contractors as needed.
- Provide monthly summary and check list to the Facility and Grounds Committee.
Qualifications:
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience preferred
Important: Technical knowledge on building system required. This position will require some weekend commitments. Use of your personal vehicle may be required for tasking.
