Roles & Responsibilities
- To maintain accurate records of all maintenance, inspections, defects, and repairs carried out to the fleet and maintain all relevant legal documentation.
- Ensure the onsite VMU (Vehicle Maintenance Unit) is communicated with regularly to keep fleet repair times to a minimum and assist the Transport Department in maximising fleet availability.
- Complete administrative tasks and reports as requested.
- Inputting of fleet related documents onto spreadsheets and web-based programmes.
- Filing of all fleet related legal & compliance documentation.
- Auditing of fleet – Internal documentation and external physically.
- Administrative tasks regarding Insurance / Accidents / Complaints.
- Completing daily reports and communicating.
- Complete small projects identify / communicate results.
- Downloading of fleet data from site vehicles.
- Account for all Vehicle related defects including rectification.
- Recording all warranty repair work effected by manufacturers to ensure that the full-service history is maintained for all hire fleet.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience working in a similar environment.
- Have excellent communication skills verbally and written.
- Excellent attention to detail skills.
- Proficient with MS Office, i.e. Excel & Word.
- Ideally have a good mechanical background (desirable not essential).
