About the Role:
Romac Logistics is currently recruiting for an Operational Systems Specialist to provide system support and drive the ongoing development of our Blue Yonder Dispatcher Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Microlise Transport Management System (TMS) platforms.
The role will ensure users across multiple sites are trained and supported, that warehouse and transport processes are aligned with system capabilities, and that accurate data is captured to drive operational efficiency, revenue accuracy and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the ongoing rollout and development of the WMS (Blue Yonder Dispatcher) and TMS (Microlise) across all sites.
- Configure and maintain WMS and TMS parameters, workflows and reporting tools.
- Resolve day-to-day user issues and queries, providing training and support to warehouse and operational teams.
- Act as the first point of contact for WMS/TMS issues, escalating to suppliers where necessary.
- Work with Operations and Finance to ensure accurate inventory, rotation and loading processes, and that system outputs align with billing and revenue capture.
- Identify opportunities to improve system use and process efficiency.
- Document workflows, processes, training guides and best practices for site teams.
- Collaborate with IT and the Transformation team to support integration projects between WMS, TMS and EDI platforms.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Previous experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and/or Transport Management System (TMS), ideally Blue Yonder and/or Microlise.
- Experience in warehouse and/or transport operations, including picking, storage, inventory or scheduling.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and system configuration skills.
- Experience training and supporting operational staff on systems.
- Strong Excel, reporting and data analysis skills.
