The role
As we continue our exciting growth journey, we are evolving how we work, enhancing our systems, processes, and structures to support scale, efficiency, and an outstanding employee experience. We are seeking a People Administrator who brings a genuine interest in supporting colleagues and delivering a smooth, high‑quality employee experience. In this role, you will provide administrative and operational support to colleagues, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and professionalism across all people processes. From onboarding coordination and maintaining employee records to assisting with day‑to‑day HR enquiries, you will play an essential role in keeping our people operations running efficiently.
Role Responsibilities
- Support HR projects, initiatives, and policy updates which align with the People Strategy.
- Respond to routine HR queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the People team.
- Support D&I, wellbeing, and engagement initiatives.
- Organise HR events, meetings, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Manage changes to terms and conditions, update job descriptions and ensure legislative compliance.
- Provide general administrative support, oversee payroll processing with finance, and manage the shared HR/Payroll inbox.
- Assist with annual processes such as performance reviews, salary reviews, and benefits administration.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by refining HR processes and optimising systems to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
- Provide accurate people data for reports and dashboards.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
Essential Requirements
- Confident communicator (verbal and written), able to build excellent working relationships and understand when to escalate queries.
- Highly organised and proactive, plans ahead, prioritises effectively, and takes initiative to anticipate needs and address issues before they escalate.
- Problem-solving mindset: Approaches challenges with a positive, can-do attitude, identifying practical solutions and driving continuous improvement.
- Able to work on own initiative, manage multiple responsibilities efficiently, meet deadlines, and consistently deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
- Trustworthy and approachable, builds confidence through discretion, professionalism, and a supportive, empathetic approach that encourages open communication.
- Background in working in financial or professional services would be beneficial.
