- The Roma Fence Group of Companies is seeking an experienced
Site Supervisor to join our growing installation team.
This role is responsible for overseeing fence installation and construction projects from start to finish while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Projects are primarily located throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and surrounding regions. Travel between job sites is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise fence installation crews on commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
- Coordinate project schedules.
- Conduct initial site inspections before work begins.
- Perform regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, productivity, and safety.
- Ensure all work complies with Occupational Health & Safety legislation, company policies, project specifications, and applicable building codes.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and Auto CAD plans.
- Coordinate permits, underground locates, and other project requirements.
- Communicate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor project schedules and provide regular progress reports.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, site reports, drawings, correspondence, and daily records.
- Identify and resolve site issues to minimize delays.
- Promote a positive safety culture and conduct site safety inspections.
- Ensure projects are completed to company quality standards and client expectations.
Qualifications
- Minimum
- 3 years of Site Supervisor or Construction Supervisor experience
- Experience supervising construction or fence installation crews.
- Education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Project Management, or a related field is considered an asset.
CET designation is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations.
- Ability to read construction drawings, blueprints, and Auto CAD plans.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Valid G driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when project requirements dictate.
