Responsibilities

  • Sales of residential and commercial access control systems/automated gate operators & accessories
  • Sales of Fence Products alongside our parent company sales team
  • Expand customer base; call potential clients to generate potential business opportunities
  • Respond to Client Inquiries
  • Provide quotes for clients
  • Perform site visits, both residential and commercial; and assessing needs of clients
  • Collection of projects once completed
  • Promote product lines; maintain and continue to develop product knowledge within company’s industrial and residential lines
  • Attend industry tradeshows and seminars related to access control systems/automated gate operators as required
  • Stay current in knowledge of access control systems product features, legislations and regulations
  • Handle purchasing & manage vendor relations alongside senior management
  • Oversee inventory control & management alongside senior management
  • Other sales and operations related duties

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years Experience doing outside sales or Operations Management – experience in selling access control systems and/or automated gate operators is an asset
  • Background in Mechanical Engineering or related is an asset
  • Excellent relationship building ability
  • Track record of sales success and demonstrated excellence in customer service
  • Excellent communication skills (strong phone etiquette and face to face service)
  • Motivated, collaborative, results oriented, competitive and customer focused
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Must be team focused and work closely with managers and other internal departments
  • Must hold and maintain a current and valid Ontario Driver’s License

Salary + commission commensurate with qualifications.
