Roma Fence Ltd. is currently seeking a weaving machine operator to join its fence production team.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday from 7am-5:30pm, 40 hours per week.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set‑up and operate chain link machine (for wire mesh production for fencing).
  • Stage/load wire and unload finished product.
  • Maintain high quality standards of fence products.
  • Perform routine maintenance and appropriate repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform other general warehousing duties as assigned.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in an effort to support safety and quality standards.

Salary:

Salary Type: per hour

Salary: $19 - $23

Job Requirements:

  • Previous work experience in machine operation is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability.
  • Valid forklift certification is an asset.
  • Ability to safely perform repetitive physical tasks, including light to moderately heavy lifting, twisting, bending, and manual material handling.
