Project Engineer
We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our existing Structural service line that provides engineering support to a number of Blue-Chip International Brands for projects primarily within the residential sectors but not limited to automotive, commercial, industrial, retail and education.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible, under the leadership of the Associate Director, for the internal day-to-day management of small to medium-scale projects and the engineering solutions for numerous schemes for clients across a range of sectors.
- Operate as part of a wider project team and represent the company with confidence to a variety of clients and outside organisations.
- Work on own initiative and coordinate work with others, with high attention to accuracy and detail.
Technical Requirements
- Demonstrable technical ability in design of core structural materials: steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber.
- Good communication skills, report writing ability.
- Working capability with AutoCAD, experience with Eurocodes and knowledge of software design packages (TEKLA, TEDDS) are essential.
- Familiarity with Revit and Navisworks beneficial but not essential.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years relevant post-graduate experience.
- Pursuing Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Structural Engineers.
