We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our existing Geotechnical & Geo-Environmental team that provides engineering support to several Blue‑Chip International Brands.
Experience within the automotive, advanced manufacturing, commercial/industrial, retail, residential and education sectors are essential with experience with data centres is desirable.
The successful candidate will be responsible, under the leadership of the Director/Associate, for the day‑to‑day management of small to medium scale projects and individual engineering task(s) for numerous schemes for client’s cross sector.
As such, there must be demonstrable technical ability in logging of trial pits and boreholes, in‑situ environmental monitoring, scheduling of chemical contamination testing and interpretation of results in accordance with UK and European recognised guidelines, with good report writing skills.
A self‑motivated person will have ample opportunity to improve their knowledge, skills, experience and to work with some of the world’s greatest businesses across a wide range of industry sectors. The role will suit a candidate with a minimum of 3 year’s relevant post‑graduate experience with a first degree in an appropriate subject such as Geology, Civil Engineering or Environmental Science.
The ability to operate as part of a wider project team within appropriate authority levels and to represent the company with confidence to a variety of clients and outside organisations is expected. The candidate will have the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of one of our dynamic teams with high attention to accuracy and detail.
We offer an internal mentoring and training program aimed at developing the individual as well as the “Engineer”.
