We are looking for a Graduate to join our existing Structural service line that provides engineering support to a number of Blue-Chip International Brands for projects primarily within the automotive, commercial, industrial, retail, education and residential sectors.
The successful candidate will be responsible, under the leadership of the Senior Project Engineer, for the project management of engineering task(s) for numerous schemes for client’s cross sector. This will include design of structural elements, working with other team members and project teams together with direct liaison with the client and other design team professionals.
A self‑motivated person will have ample opportunity to improve their knowledge, skills, experience and to work with some of the world’s greatest businesses across a wide range of industry sectors. The role will suit a candidate with a minimum of two – three years relevant post‑graduate experience and pursuing their Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Structural Engineers or looking for sponsorship for a Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural services, part‑time during employment may also be available for suitable candidates. Those candidates who have achieved first‑class degrees will be given priority when selecting candidates for consideration for interview.
The candidate for this position will have a good level of computer literacy and a basic working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structural Designer and Tedds. The successful candidate will be required to visit site/attend meetings from time to time and provide support to our other offices.
The ability to operate as part of a wider project team within appropriate authority levels and to represent the company with confidence to a variety of clients and outside organisations is expected. The candidate will have the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of one of our dynamic teams with a high attention to accuracy and detail.
