An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a contract position at the Bristol Machining facility, within the Turbines sector. We are looking for a Skilled TIG Welder to join on a rotating shift pattern.

What you will be doing:
- Engage in Health and Safety activity.
- Produce components at the highest Quality.
- Follow Manufacturing Instructions and Data Cards.
- Work to meet high volume requirements.
- Welding Nozzle Guide Vanes (NGVs) using Work Instructions, Technical Information & drawings.
- Ensure all Engine components are welded to the highest standard and conform to the required specification.
- Work to set deadlines to achieve performance targets and Customer delivery commitments.
- Ensure Health & Safety is adhered to a high standard, at all times.
Who we’re looking for:
- Completed a recognised time-served apprenticeship including City and Guilds, NVQ3/SVQ3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline. (Original trade papers must be available for review at interview).
- Experienced in TIG Welding to agreed standards is essential.
- Experience in working with Nickels/Steels and Alloys.
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings (considered an asset).
- An up-to-date working knowledge of health, safety (including COSHH) and environmental procedures.
- To work for the Rolls-Royce business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently have this in place.
- Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets we can only progress applications from individuals who are a UK national or, in MoD approved cases, a dual national.
