Job Title: Welder
Working Pattern: Full time / On-site
Working location: Derby – Raynesway
This exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Rolls-Royce Installations Team as a pipe fitter/welder. In this role you will be supporting the development of the Raynesway site through carrying out pipe work installations/modifications to support current manufacturing capability and to support the delivery of new manufacturing capability.

What you will be doing
In this role you will be responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of pipe work installations across the Raynesway production facility, working on a varied range of plant and equipment from chemical process lines, advanced Manufacturing Assets, through to general site infrastructure. This role is key maintaining current manufacturing capability and delivering enhanced capability.
Day to day activities would include the installation/alteration of pipe systems across the Raynesway manufacturing site, this could include the monitoring and control of external support vendors.
You’ll be carrying out or coordinating pipework installations, ensuring safety first:

Manufacture and installation of pipe systems including but not limited to: Swagelock, PVDF, Gerbit Mapress, Black ball and welded stainless.

Supporting the engineering function in problem solving to identify suitable engineered solutions for pipe work installations.

Coordinating pipe work installations utilising third party contractors ensuring installations are carried out safely and meeting our quality standards.

Supporting the wider organisations safety first principles through championing out HSE control standards.

Preferred coded welder to BS EN ISO 9606 or ASME 9
