Services Operations Officer

What you will be doing:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a for a Service Operations Officer.
This is a cross-functional supplier facing role, where the individual is responsible for managing & enabling the near-term operational plan for the MRO base they\βre aligned to.
Working with the MRO base team and a number of internal functions across the Value Streams for Parts Supply, Engineering for TV delivery, the Repair team and Spares Support for the transaction of parts planning and parts release β all to ensure engines and modules across the MRO operations portfolio adhere to the required streamer to maximise output volume.

Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Aftermarket Operations: the Off-Wing team is responsible for setting and executing the Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul plan for Large Trent Engines across our global network.
- Operational role with a breadth across planning, control, and supplier management.
- Critical role that enables, supports, and drives the operational performance of our MRO network.
- A cross-functional, supplier-facing role, where you will manage and enable the near-term operational plan for the MRO base you are aligned to.
- Collaborating with the MRO base and various internal functions across the Value Streams for Parts Supply, Engineering for TV delivery, the Repair team, and Spares Support for the transaction of parts planning and parts release. All efforts are aimed at ensuring engines in the shop adhere to the required streamer to maximise MRO output volume.
Who we\βre looking for:
Please be aware that the priority will be given to employees identified as being at high risk.
- Strong Collaboration Skills
- Ideally business improvement and project management experience
- Understanding of Civil Large Engine architecture and configuration
- Operational, planning & control, or technical understanding would be an advantage
- Supplier facing role, experience in this space welcome.
- Excellent communication and influencing skill.
- Knowledge of MRO, Component Repair and/or Supply Chain activity beneficial β but can be developed on the job
The professional level and salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate but is anticipated to be Derby grade 7 to 10.
This job is advertised at the grades shown, and this is the desired operating level for this role.
