Position Summary
The role offers a unique opportunity to drive impactful solutions in a Service environment by providing technical support to the MRO global network and executing Zero Defects principles, tools and activities to develop, maintain and continuously improve MRO, engine availability and overall defect elimination through Technical Variance (TV) reduction.
What you will be doing:
- Identify and develop opportunities for new or improved inspection methods and tasks to meet current and/or future requirements and increase engine manual maturity.
- Scope, draft and deliver technical publications in support of the Trent Fleet engine induction plans in the global MRO network.
- Plan and manage activities, including scheduling regular governance, communicating status to stakeholders at multiple levels, and making sure issues get resolved within required timeframes in support of the fleet health.
- Work with commodity leads and process owners to drive improvements and best practices.
- Develop and deliver solutions for the elimination of non-conformance in a service environment through multiple value streams.
Position qualifications

- A relevant technical degree or equivalent industrial experience e.g. engineering and services, mechanical design engineering.
- Lean exposure / knowledge to at least Lean Six Sigma Yellow belt is preferred.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing technical publications such as manual revisions, technical variances and service bulletins.
- Experience in data mining and the ability to generate solutions based on data.
- Knowledge of manufacturing engineering, MRO, Design and special processes.
- Project management and Team lead skills are a plus.
