We're looking for a Senior Document Controller to join our Safety & Regulatory Affairs function, reporting into our Quality Programme Manager. You'll be a senior member of our Document Control capability, providing expertise across multiple programmes and shaping best practice that supports our critical work in a regulated nuclear environment.

Key Deliverables

  • Lead the delivery of high-quality document and records management across a complex, highly regulated environment.
  • Drive consistency and compliance in document lifecycle processes, standards, metadata structures, and configuration control.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for stakeholders, guiding teams and suppliers on documentation expectations, workflows, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring evidence is complete, traceable, and compliant with nuclear quality standards.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Document Control or Records Management within nuclear, defence, or other regulated high-integrity industries.
  • Strong capability in configuration management, information governance, and nuclear documentation or LTQR evidence structures.
  • High proficiency with EDRMS platforms and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teamcenter, Aconex, Asite, Documentum).
  • Clear, confident stakeholder communication and the ability to support others in applying complex standards.
  • Equivalent experience is welcome even if it doesn't follow a traditional route.
  • Obtaining Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance.
  • Satisfactory completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Satisfactory completion of a basic financial probity check.

Benefits

A salary between £42,000 - £55,150, £2,200 benefit allowance, 12.5% bonus opportunity, 6x pensionable life assurance, 50% income protection, 28 days' holiday plus bank holidays, and a £250 new-joiner payment, alongside opportunities for development and progression.

Security Clearance

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance. Satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Satisfactory basic financial probity check.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a competency-based interview and may be asked to provide evidence of document management capability. This role requires BPSS checks as part of our onboarding process.
