The business is based around two Product Centres in Bristol and Heybridge with shared support resources provided from our team in East Grinstead; we operate an integrated programme delivery team across the Bristol and Heybridge sites. What you will be doing: As a Scheduling Lead you will support the Programmes from within the PMO by generating and maintaining schedules, conducting health checks, and providing reports on scheduling status. This role ensures that programme schedules align with organisational objectives and best practices. While the Scheduling Lead can create schedules, they do not have a customer-facing role; instead, the project teams handle direct interactions. The Scheduling Lead provides guidance on scheduling best practices and ensures consistency across programmes. Key Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and optimise programme schedules to align with PMO objectives.Support project teams by generating health checks and reports on schedule performance.Ensure schedules are structured effectively to identify risks, dependencies, and critical paths.Provide guidance on scheduling best practices and methodologies within the PMO.Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and realistic scheduling inputs.Utilise scheduling tools and software to track project progress and update key stakeholders.Identify potential scheduling conflicts and recommend adjustments to mitigate risks.Standardise scheduling processes to improve efficiency and accuracy across programmes.Generate reports on schedule adherence, resource utilisation, and programme timelines.Support continuous improvement initiatives in scheduling and planning processes. To be considered for this exciting role, you will require: Bachelor\βs degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Strong knowledge of scheduling software such as MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong organisational and time management abilities.Effective communication and collaboration skills within a PMO environment.Ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities simultaneously.Experience in project scheduling within a PMO or large-scale programme environment.Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) or Scheduling (PMI-SP) is beneficial.Knowledge of project controls, risk management, and scheduling methodologies.
