The Property Manager provides direct support and subject matter expertise on the acquisition and disposal of land, leases and property related to the Rolls Royce Estate.

Coordinating with external entities as needed to ensure delivery within the overall business strategy.

Work within Group Property in the Corporate Real Estate team in an inclusive culture that supports continuous learning and development.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Ensure day to day portfolio management activities, including rent reviews, lease renewals, estate management issues, relocations, rightsizing, re-gears, and acquisitions—collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to execute these tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with vendors, landlords, agents, and external suppliers to secure optimal property locations, formats, and sizes that optimize sales and minimise costs.

Obtain necessary consents for changes to the property portfolio.

  • Ensure the requirements of all Health, Safety and Environment standards for property landlords on Rolls‑Royce premises are available, maintained and implemented appropriately.
  • Act as a professional collaborator on planning/zoning applications for development.
  • Provide guidance to our businesses on community meetings in respect to planning/zoning matters.
  • Coordinate and ensure appropriate supervision of business advisors on property related matters.
  • Ensure that the organisation is informed to an appropriate level on all issues that are property related so that all risks can be mitigated.
  • Develop strategic portfolio plans including asset and property review.
  • Maintain the database on all company property holdings, including owned and leased property.
  • Who We’re Looking For
  • Commercial negotiations relating to the acquisition, disposal of land/building and leases.
  • Ability to select and instruct consultant advisers.
  • Guidance of budgets.
  • Experience of working within a team and working distinctly.
  • Working knowledge of Town & Country Planning processes.
  • Professional Property Qualification (RICS or equivalent).
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of RICSPQE or equivalent professional experience.
  • A degree, postgraduate diploma or equivalent in property management.
  • Requires SC clearance (or be in a position to obtain) through Defence Vetting as a Minimum
  • Project and Portfolio Management experience (for both Agile and Waterfall).
  • Experience of supporting and working in a global business environment and coaching distributed teams.
  • Communication Management – to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage teams both internally and externally.
